Jump the ship, I did 6 years ago, before even proton was a thing when games worked witha lot of thinkering.
Nowdays you habe so many great games working you won’t mind a couple of games not working because of all the other playable games.

They can always make a torrent of it and share it like that if they are in a country with barelly any dmca laws.
Somebody can always just get an offline copy of that data, that kever hits the internet so company’s won’t know where it is so it can’t be dmca’d.
I was talking for the op in that part tho, it can be seen from the context
I just prefer the vim bindings and motions, not an obsession. I use diff tools almost daily and can manage in them with no issues, but whenever I can use vim binding I will because they just feel better to me.
That’s why for tables and katex equations I used plugins to help me with then to not be rough.
As for other stuff than vim, minimize the nees for them if it really gets hard.
Mkdnflow is the one that I used to use and it does so many things amazingly for writting markdown easier
Why would you wanna quit if vim works for you?
Plus vim can be an amazing markdown editor with a few dedicated plugins.
I never touched streaming services, mostly cause they came to my country 2years ago and were already shit they are now, plus cost me too much to even afford one.
So I just have torrenting setup automated with arr software. ( Don’t even need a vpn because my country has no copyright laws so free to torrent whatever I wan’t )
The more and more of stuff like this I see, the kore I just wan’t to buy the cheapest possible mini pc, make it tv remote controllable and just put it to open jellyfin directly that’s connected to my home media server.
And then hook it up to the most dumb tv I can fijd with decent picture quality.
That’s a fine but, as long as the server was hosted at my personal devices, which it isn’t but on a hetzner dedicated box. Which is still better than on shared pc’s.
Don’t really need it, it’s just nice to have.
So nixos or gentoo then.
The streaming services wont work if you have no access to interner lol.
At my last job I had to travel to my work dailly for over an hour in one way, for almost the whole travel I didn’t have any network or phone reception.
Will much rather just have music on a media server and a client that allows me to locally download some of my favouritr music for such situations like navidrome and synfonium than pay for spotify premium to allow me to do that.
Proton came into existence in the later part of 2018, I jumped to linux about half a year before proton came out, so probably closer to 7 years now.
