21·6 days agoUsing Kopia, backups are made multiple times per day to Google drive. Only changes are transferred.
Configurations are backed up once per week and manually, stored 4 weeks. Websites and NextCloud data is backed up every hour and stored for a year (although I’m doing this only 7 months now).
Kopia is magic, recommended!
9·15 days agoAlmost all compact cameras lack a viewfinder. They are competing with phone-photography, which they are losing.
The weak point of taking photos with mobile phones is the screen. In bright sunshine, you can not make good photos. So I would say: make a simple, small viewfinder camera with software- & sensor- technology similar to phones, with a slightly better lens. Keep it really cheap for almost throw-away price so everyone can afford it and a lot can be sold. It would have a small screen and a viewfinder so taking pictures in bright light is easier. It can cast a slideshow to TVs and computers (the small screen would work as a remote control, swipe for next). An accessory like HDMI to Wifi (Chromecast-like) stick can be sold.
It could be the modern interpretation of the iconic Kodak Instamatic.

If the foundation decides to share the details of the involved editors, a large group of contributors could quit their accounts and ask for removal of their contributions.
Considering the structure of Wikimedia, this will be a near impossible task, it may bring them to European courts next for violating EU law???
The precedent was years ago with Facebook and WhatsApp blocking alleged anti government messages (which the court branded as anti-nation, sedition). Last year the BBC documentary about Modi and alleged fascism was world news and led to the departure of BBC from India. The problem is that the world sees India as an emerging market where in fact it is a fascist country in the making.

A terrorist attack by Muslims leads to invading a country and genocide of innocent people with weapons provided by innocent citizens of the USA. The world leaders want us to believe that this is called freedom-fighting, it’s not racism. On the other hand, I am accused of racism because I notice: a racist Florida Jew is performing a terrorist hate crime against two Israeli (at least one of them being a racist), in a country/state where guns are freely available, both involved countries and the state where it happened are governed by elected racists.
I’m currently openly sharing my hatred against Fascist Americans, Genocidal Israeli, Murderous Palestinians and Killer Russians without any problem. If you feel addressed you were probably in one of these groups and you were my target.
