I don’t know who this developer is, maybe they are well-known and well regarded. I just know that for an OS, better to be safe than sorry and go with and established and well respected project such as Tails IMO. Not trying discourage users from trying it, just that they should be mindful of the risks and adjust their behavior accordingly.
