I couldn’t handle that many centipedes in close proximity to my body. Imagine if they all got out inside of your girdle.

An invincible wolf man, who is like a wolf in every regard save for the fact that he can fly.

That’s exactly what drove me into seeking out Lemmy instead. I hopped on Mastodon and it made me feel like I was being coralled into following some niche hobby forum exclusively, and I wasn’t into that. It didn’t explain that the instance itself was largely irrelevant and that the rest of the platform would open up to me after choosing one.
Lemmy still had a learning curve, but having experience with reddit I was able to pick it up easily enough.
You’re not wrong. I tend to think the worst of people when I learn they’re conservative. I find it difficult to rationalize how they can observe the actions and behavior of conservative leadership and actually cheer them on. But, like my own mother has proven to me, many of them are just ignorant victims of propoganda who are oblivious to the whole picture.
I hate the frequent use of “call(s)” in journalism to paint this dishonest picture that there is a large group or important figures actively motioning to do shit, when it’s almost always just as you’ve said here. One or two inconsequential dicks with a stupid opinion.
Thanks for the heads up. I don’t really have a vendetta against Microsoft, I just hear a lot of moaning over how bad 11 is and have been hesitant to upgrade thus far. Even if it isn’t great, I managed to strip 10 down in a way that it closely resembles 7, so I’m sure I can do something similar.
I’m on Windows 10 currently, so not quite two versions behind, but I held onto XP and 7 for ages.
I have always liked Windows, but I’m always two versions behind and have never actually experienced any other OS. I’m open to Linux, but it also scares the shit out of me because I’ll essentially go back to knowing fuck all about the OS on my PC.
And I’ve also heard gaming can be complicated on Linux, whether or not that’s true.
I’d say Bandits, but he’s only worthy of the Renegades.
Putin belongs in Yantar like the swamp-fuck he is.
Hate when that happens…
I hear the charity tax myth all the time and I don’t understand why everyone just believes it.
Sometimes you can find scimitars in there. You can chop a camel right in its hump and drink all of its milk right off the tip of those things.
As someone who can barely approach the edge of a 3-story parking structure, I would come unraveled on one of those balconies.
I actually can’t pee with other people in the room, so public washrooms are a nightmare. But I learned that I can pee real easy in them while I’m sitting down to take a shit. So anytime I’m in one with other people, I just chill in the stall and pretend to take a shit. Might even fiddle with toilet paper after a while and flush just to keep the charade going.
Well, through that I learned that sitting to piss feels waayyyy fucking better. Especially in the middle of the night after crawling out of bed. I’m married, have a kid, and no longer care if people know I sometimes sit to pee.
I’ve never cared much about TikTok but old Vine memes make me wish I had been more involved with that platform. If Loops ends up being cool, it might be neat to help pioneer something for once.
I don’t find it particularly funny, but I certainly enjoyed the vibe of the entire skit.
I’ve been paying $25 CAD to support five family accounts and prevent my daughter from seeing ads during her monitored viewing. If that price goes up 30-50%, I’m fucking done. This was an expense I was willing to incur, as YouTube is literally the only media platform my family even uses anymore. Better price than cable and multiple streaming platforms, and (again) I’m paying that for five active accounts.
If anyone knows of a way for me to adblock through my Roku TV so that we can continue watching YouTube on it without a Premium account, I’m all ears. The TV is the only reason I’m not just using uBlock to begin with. I’m really not into the idea of hooking a laptop up via HDMI if I can avoid it. Just feels like a sloppy user experience for anyone else in the household wanting to watch YouTube on TV.
Hate when that happens…
It can, but it comes out more like “ROOVE ARONG RITIZEN!”
